There is a Laundry in Park and a large clean shower. There is a small store on the next block. All sites have Bar-B-Q and picnic table, all have 30 and 50 amp service with night lights. We are in walking distance to Bird sanctuaries and small store. Less than a half mile from the Beach. There is an open beach from High Island to Port Arthur. No homes just open beach. Bring your sun glasses, there is a part of the beach that a lot of people like to go nude at times. Owners live in park, come enjoy a get away. Free Wi -fi in park and DSL hook up in Laundry. Also a FREE BAG of ICE..

Directions: � GPS Coordinates: 32� 0'32.17"N and 97�20'47.65"W; elevation is 609 ft. � From the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex: Go south on I-35E or I-35W to I-35, take the I-35 exit #368A at Hillsboro. Turn right at top of ramp onto Corsicana/Hwy 22. Turn right at S. Waco/Hwy 22. Continue west on Hwy 22 to downtown Hillsboro. At Courthouse turn left onto W. Elm/Hwy 22. Approx. 12 miles to Whitney, veer right at the "Y" onto Loop 180 (Business 22). At the signal light, turn right onto FM 933 and go 5 miles to the entrance of the preserve on the left � From Waco: Go north on I-35 to exit #368A at Hillsboro. Additional Features: This 408-acre preserve is located amidst rolling hills. Campsites nestled under canopy coverage of oak and cedar trees offer a scenic and private camping environment. Included among our many amenities are miles of nature and equestrian trails with breathtaking overlooks of Lake Whitney. Lake Whitney is a prominent location for fossil hunting. Relax on the shoreline among the shade of the oak and juniper trees or enjoy the crystal clear lake, which has been noted as a favorite among scuba divers, as well as, an angler's paradise.

Turn left at stop sign. Drive 2 miles on FM 830 to Old Montgomery Road. Turn left and stay to the right side of the fork. Watch for the signs. � From Dallas/Huntsville: Drive south on I-45 to FM 830 exit 92. Turn right at the stop sign. Drive 2 miles on FM 830 to Old Montgomery Road. Additional Features: This 128-acre preserve is located off the shores of Lake Conroe. Our two boat docks and boat ramp give perfect access to the 22,000-acre lake that is a favorite for fishing, water sports and relaxing.
